Herbert Weighknecht

Herbert, who goes by J.R., is originally from eastern Pennsylvania. He has been married to his beautiful wife for over 22 years. Together they have raised 2 children. Their daughter Autumn currently attends the University of Southern Mississippi pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. Their son Wyatt is a Junior in high school and has intentions of following in his father’s path by joining the military after graduation.

J.R. has called the Emerald Coast home for the last 10 years. He has served over twenty years in the military. He has traveled the globe with overseas assignments in Honduras, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Iraq and Afghanistan. While serving as a Green Beret he earned 2 Bronze Stars, Combat Infantry Badge, 4 Army Commendation Medals and various other awards and achievements. In addition, while serving he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in business.

J.R. likes to volunteer in the community where he lives. He is the Okaloosa County Ducks Unlimited Chairman, where he has raised over $250,000 for the non-profit organization over the previous 3 years. He also enjoys working on his hobby farm where he raises the majority of his own produce, grass fed animals and honeybees for a clean eating and healthy lifestyle. He takes advantage of everything the Emerald Coast has to offer such as kayaking, diving, snorkeling, fishing, hunting and hiking.

He has been involved in real estate investing for over 15 years and has recently expanded his real estate endeavors by assisting others with their real estate endeavors. He hopes to work with you closely to fulfill your real estate dreams!
